I applaud the SEC for proposing this new streamline 3-4 page summary in front of each prospectus issued by fund companies. Additionally, I would like to see the following included in the proposal:1)How the fund's price compares with other offerings in similar funds and 2)How the fund compares itself with a standard benchmark (and not a broad market index.) It's too hard for the individual investor to scout out additional comparative data on fees or performance and this information should be relatively easier for the fund to obtain.
