Dear Sir:

I know the SEC conducted a study over a year ago that resulted in the abolition of the short selling uptick rule. I know the SEC decided then that the uptick rule seemed unnecessary. But in light of all the recent short selling abuse, which even required the SEC to temporarily prohibit short selling several times within a few months, isn't it obvious that the uptick rule must be reinstated. It's time to admit a possible misinterpretation of the study and reinstate the uptick rule now!

Sincerely,
