Why is shorting, in any form, allowed ?
I simply don't get it. If you don't believe in a stock or its value you sell it or simply don't buy it. Why the need to permit people to "pile on" to those companies already displaying troubles?
You want a healthy economy ? Outlaw ALL forms of shorting.
It is an open door to abuse and negative extremes.
