I encourage you to reinstate the uptick rule. Confidence to invest in the U.S.
stock market is at a very low level. Many think that the markets are manipulated by market makers (i.e. hedge funds and dealer/brokers). There seems to be ample evidence that shorting on the down tick and naked shorting are hurting many average investeres and many good companies all because of greed. Reinstate the uptick rule and start prosecuting naked short seller
