How about reinstituting the uptick rule (or another effective short-selling breaker rule) before the rumor-mongering short-sellers serially collapse our financial system? Are you waiting for the damage to be irreversible before taking some action?
Is anyone there, or is the SEC still in hibernation from the Christopher Cox days?
