Dear SEC,

I am writing to ask you to REMOVE the investing restrictions with regard to "accredited investors", especially with regards to hedge funds.

Modern investors are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and I think that instead of creating a set of "haves" and "have-nots" you should be giving the population equal access to the same set of investment vehicles, instead of creating artificial barriers EVERYONE should be able to manage their investments to take advantage of the full range of choices available.

An ideal method would be to create a set of initial rules/regulations that increase publicity and public knowledge, thereby bring such investments further into the mainstream.

Regards,
Mark Spiller
