Greetings, please do not restrict the buying and selling of leveraged funds or ETFs. They instrumental in proving a mix of investments options especially for younger investors. Since I have a government pension (in the future) I can use leveraged funds to increase my return over many years. Kiplinger has mentioned that if you have a pension you need less in bonds. In addition, the tax deffer ed contributions allow me to take on a little more risk. Granted my funds have gone down but I am a long term investor and expect the funds to recover in the future. My brokerages do inform me that these funds are very volatile and not for every investor.
