As a public servant it is your duty to ensure a fair and level playing field. It is NOT your responsibility to protect the public from themselves. As a consumer I am free to make decisions. Even bad ones. This is one more attempt to creat an outcome. To protect the public from themselves. Removing a moral hazard will not help the public in the long run and will do little to help it in the short run.
