I am against the proposed SEC regulations regarding leveraged and inverse funds for the following and other reasons.
I currently invest in leveraged and inverse funds. They allow me to seek enhanced returns and help protect my portfolio.
I am capable of understanding and evaluating leveraged and inverse funds and their performance characteristics. I do not want a third-party evaluating my capability to do so and potentially preventing me from trading in them.
I want to preserve the long-standing free public markets where investors and their advisers have the freedom to trade in public securities without government-imposed limitations on investor choice.
