EInter your comments here.I have used both leveraged and inverse leveraged index ETFs for more than a decade with considerable success. Initially as an appreciation play and later as a hedging tool. This proposal is yet another attempt by big brother trying to protect unsophisticated investors from themselves. Everyone is entitled to make mistakes. That is how we learn. Slow learners usually go broke, it's as simple as that.
