I don't remember the part of the Constitution which states that the federal government is charged with protecting me from me, from my bad decisions, from my investment mistakes, etc. This is simply a function the SEC has assumed because the feds want to control EVERYTHING. Why don't you stick to preventing Wall Street from making mortgage loans to people that can't repay them, or packaging them as credit default swaps like they did prior to 2008. I understand the Street is still engaged in this because YOU haven't prevented it.

I have to understand ALL investments I make including leveraged and inverse funds. Substantial disclosure is made by purveyors of these funds in their prospectuses, and that is all the information needed for investors. Stay out of my business.
