Dear SEC,
The Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC, as an independent federal regulatory agency tasked with protecting investors and capital, overseeing the stock market and proposing and enforcing federal securities laws. Yet the SEC failed to do this, allowing the Fed and the Banks to put the entire system at risk. This risk can be mitigated with inverse funds or leveraged funds. It is Not the SECs job to take away my choices or options. These products exist to protect me from the failures of the current market conditions.
I ask again if your going to regulate any portion of the market start with the window for bank liquidity, which has been manipulated. Leave me and many other investors the options to protect ourselves as we see fit. Not using government bailouts.
Thank you, AWS
