Please stop with any qualification process, most brokerage have rules in places. Use these leveraged ETF for my portfolio models and without them would dramatically impact ability to trade and follow my models.
Inverse I use to hedge and take short positions.
I understand the risk and we need no further regulation since both ML and Fidelity had me acknowledge the risk and limit what I can trade. We do not need another layer of complexity for us individual investors.
Rather you focus on HFT trading issues then adding more complexity to the ETF world. Less not more. My Europe individual traders are dumfounded at the restrictions we US traders have so enough is enough.
