I would like to see individual investors such as myself continue to be allowed to trade leveraged and inverse (LI) exchange traded funds (ETF). The challenge of understanding potential losses and risks have been clearly provided through the prospectus and if any recommendation to limit trading it should only be considered if those who want to participate have formally agreed and confirmed in advance that review of the document has been completed and the individual is not blindly executing trades. I do believe it is important to allow as much freedom to investors and traders alike in a capitalist economy and I dont agree with limited access or worse prohibition of participation if the potential for loss and other risks are made known. My broker TD Ameritrade does a very thorough job of providing the required information and has been a complete service provider in that respect. Please do consider the fact educated consumers such as myself require access to all possible capital markets and trading platforms so that investment goals can be met.
