I've owned leveraged funds for FIVE(5) years, have been through maybe 3 major market swings, and am quite aware and happy with how they perform. I am 71 years old and have ALL MY MONEY, INCLUDING MARGIN BORROWING, invested in these funds. I certainly don't need or want the SEC or my own brokerage company telling me I can't invest in them. I watch my accounts on a DAILY basis As I write this, my account is down 57% from its most recent high and this is not the most it has declined. It's insulting to think that I need either the gov't. or Fidelity telling me what I can do. If my prior continuous 5 year and 100% commitment to these leveraged investments doesn't qualify me to use these leveraged investments, I DON'T KNOW WHAT ELSE WOULD. KEEP YOU HANDS OFF THESE PRODUCTS. GO BOTHER SOMEONE ELSE.
