I do not support proposed regulations related to inverse and leveraged funds.
Leveraged and inverse funds are critical to my personal portfolio management in order to protect my portfolios in certain market climates.
I am capable of understanding the mechanics of leveraged and inverse funds and of understanding the risks and impacts of using these funds as part of my investment strategy. It is not necessary for a third party to evaluate my competency.
I support free, public markets and the freedom of individuals to make decisions on their own behalf, without third parties or an un-elected regulatory body imposing limitations on my individual investor freedoms.
I support protection of personal information and dislike the idea that another third party needs access to extensive personal financial information in order for me to continue to manage my portfolio in the way I see fit.
