The ability to buy inverse funds is part of what free markets are based upon. These leveraged ETF and ETN's are volatile and can cause someone to lose money in short order, however so are options and futures. Don't punish the well informed investor for those who are ignorant to the trading vehicle they choose. Instead, force brokers to have their customers sign waivers confirming they understand what they are trading.
