I have invested in inverse funds for many years (and occasionally leveraged funds) and I greatly appreciate the value they provide to investors who realize a market may be turning down, not up, and who occasionally wish to have additional leverage.

I see NO valid reason for limiting investors' ability to invest in such funds by putting in place a burdensome set of qualifications. Any such action will unnecessarily limit investors' ability to make sound investment choices and may even lead to brokerage firms no longer offering such funds.

Please do NOT limit our access to leveraged and inverse funds as they are a great way for investors to diversify their portfolios and enhance their returns.

I fully understand how these funds work and the risks and benefits they provide, and I do not need to be told by a third-party that I am not capable of making sound investment decisions on my own.

If you believe investors need to be protected from themselves, then you might as well eliminate our ability to invest in stocks entirely and simply close down the entire stock market.
