I am against the SEC creating additional barriers to a free market trying to solve a problem that may not even exist. Once again the government is trying to protect me from myself, not something I need. Wouldn't it be better for the SEC to spend it's time enforcing existing rules to better serve the public. The SEC allows privledged traders , i.e. High frequency traders to have an unfair advantage over the public much to the detriement of the public. Dear SEC spend your time and money wisely - solve the real problems that already exist rather than trying to find solutions to something that no one is complaining about
