I want to take a brief moment to say that I believe leveraged ETF's are a good thing and I don't see a need to increase regulation or scrutiny around them. Just like short-selling, inverse and leveraged ETF's serve a function for people that know how to use them. I understand there are people that may not use these instruments properly. We cannot protect everyone from themselves. If they are foolish enough to use a product they do not understand, shame on them How it this any different from buying a stock and assuming it will just keep going up and not selling as it starts falling and you have no exit strategy? Will we ban stock purchases next? Please do away with this silly proposal
