I understand your interest in protecting individual investors but let's be reasonable with these investments. A simple asset test combined with appropriate disclosures should be sufficient to achieve your goals. These investment vehicles are critical to my investment strategy and I don't want to lose them. I also don't want to jump through hoops to access them.
