It is disappointing to see that the SEC is considering a restriction on publicly traded securities, without demonstrating any tangible evidence that these securities are dangerous or inappropriate investments for individual investors. On the contrary, these funds provide the opportunity for investors with limited access to margin to pursue levered returns, which can result in substantial profits for the individual when utilized appropriately. Therefore, the SEC should no longer pursue Proposed Rule #S7-24-15, and should continue to allow open market operations, without restriction, on all exchange traded funds - regardless of their leverage or inverse nature.
