We are blessed as investors with myriad choices that help bring sophisticated strategies to the small investor.
I don't want to lose the levered/inverse funds, nor do I want to be subjected to another level of "suitability". (Options are far more dangerous, and yet require just a few extra questions on an application.) Investors who buy small-cap or penny stocks court more risk, and yet they aren't expected to show proficiency or financial solvency --- why would investors in ETF's, whether levered or not?
Go after crooks, not investors.
