I have used leveraged and inverse funds for years, and they are an important part of my investment strategy that allow me to seek enhanced returns and to help protect my portfolio. I am fully capable of understanding these funds, their performance characteristics, and their risks. I do not need or want a third-party evaluating my capability to invest in these types of funds, just as I do not need or want third-party or government-imposed limitations on any other available investment vehicles or stocks.
