Doesn't some poor soul think we have too many regulations these days without adding more?? Sometimes investors are benefited from buying short-term leveraged or inverse funds and therefore protecting their portfolios. (Buyer beware right?) What kind of a problem is the SEC solving by instituting such regulation? Have you identified such a problem? If someone is going to invest in buying stocks, let them decide for themselves what is best for them. Or perhaps, if you're not willing to do that, you might want to provide them with a "therapy pig" or something, and go in a quiet room so they can drown their sorrows in tears. How about letting investors figure out for themselves what is best for them.
