I have been trading securities for many years and have trading accounts at Trade Station, Gain Capital and Fidelity Investments. I frequently utilize leveraged and inverse ETFs to compliment my futures and options trading. It is so much more convenient to purchase an inverse ETF rather than having to short a security, and the 2X or 3X leveraged ETFs are useful as they fall between ordinary stock and highly leveraged securities such as options and futures that I also trade. Most of us know to protect ourselves by reading the prospectus prior to considering an investment. It is offensive to me that the SEC should treat the public as if we need hand-holding, and try to limit or regulate our right to make our own financial decisions. This proposed rule #S7-24-15 is a limitation upon our freedoms, and I hope that you will reconsider its adoption.
