I am a retail investor and I am writing to express my opposition to the proposed changes related to leveraged and inverse investment vehicles. I hold a masters degree in Quantitative Finance and have been managing my own investments for over 20 years now. I regularly use leveraged and inverse ETFs in my portfolio as a way to manage my risk and enhance my returns. I am extremely capable of understanding the investment vehicles that I utilize and I always do my due diligence before executing any transaction. Because of this, I feel quite comfortable using leveraged and inverse ETFs and do not want a third party evaluating my capability to understand my investment choices. So I urge the SEC to retract the proposed changes that affect the ability of retail customers to invest in leveraged or inverse investment vehicles.
