I am writing in reference to the proposed new regulations that could impact investors' use of leveraged and inverse funds.

I passing them would be another selfish, falsely self-righteous move that would make it even more difficult for an individual investor to produce returns competitive with returns of a financial institution. Many ordinary people, such as myself, benefit from these funds to compete in a market that is stacked against the individual investor. Funny how you will continue allow banks and large financial institutions access to leverage through unconventional methods, but it's my personal and retirement account that will suffer. Many individual investors already understand the risks that come with these funds and pair their investments with outsized cash positions.

I urge you not to pass new regulations. These regulations go against your mission statement. You will not be protecting investors or maintaining fair markets. Thank you.
