Comment on SEC Proposed Rule #S7-24-15:

Like all stock market investing, there is risk involved. I feel that anyone involved in the trading of L&I funds isn’t the average trader. The fact that we even know they exist shows we are more in tune with trading and the risks involved than others. I maintain a constant watch on my portfolio and understand the nature of L&I funds. I monitor them multiple times throughout the day and read articles on current events that may impact them. The brokers also clearly and repeatedly warn investors of the potential for loss when investing in L&I finds. I have been investing in L&I funds for nearly 10 years and feel that the decision to trade in any kind of securities is up to me and I should be able to continue without question. Leaving the choice up to the brokerage firms is highly subjective. Who will decide what criteria will be required to allow one to trade L&I Funds? I believe this is a slippery slope that may eventually push out all private investors from investing in any kind of securities without “professional” assistance.
