When more shares of a stock trade than what exist, it is a form of dilution. Also when the shares are sold naked, there is little to no risk, knowing the massive unlimited naked short-selling will proceed unimpeded and lower the price. I really hope the companies being destroyed by the practice of naked short-selling,which the SEC is supposed to prohibit, will sue the SEC and everyone in the administration who has decided to allow it.
