It is time for the SEC to protect Main Street and not Wall Street or the Hedgies of MFA.
The regular folks with just IRA's and 401 K's are losing hard earned wealth by naked short selling.
Someone at the SEC please explain that 19 Wall Street firms get protection, but my stocks of other financial companies and regional banks get creamed. Please post on SEC how the commission came up with 19. The logic and rationale?
Even some foreign firms get protection? But regular folks are not protected?
It is probably time for injunctive relief here. I believe that if I went to DC or NY, and got in front of a judge, logic would have to prevail.
