Dear Sirs:

My wife and I had the majority of our retirement invested in Washington Mutual (WM) and Wachovia (WB).

We have lost all confidence in the SEC to properly regulate and protect investors from naked short selling of banking stocks. We understand that you continue to allow this practice without enforcement. This is so grossly unfair to the long term investors in these stocks. Your actions have cost us excess dilution of our ownership in these companies.

We send our sons to Iraq and watch our government fail from within. It is a disgrace.
