I may be wrong but I thought that naked short selling was illegal for any stock. If so, why are only 19 stocks being singled out for special treatment. Shouldn't an investigation be made into every stock that has naked short selling? I'm a little baffled as to why a law would only be partially applied. It would be nice to see an impartial enforcement of already established laws. If for some reason equal enforcement isn't feasible because of a manpower shortage then perhaps the SEC could start with the most flagrant violations and work down.
