Naked short selling has been illegal since the 1930's.
The current lack of enforcement of the existing rules is disgusting when it is observed how naked shorting criminals illegally suppress the share prices of individual securities, along with the U.S. stock markets.
Combine the naked shorting with the bash pieces submitted by accomplice "journalists", and you have a situation in which all retail investors are being harmed by the illegal naked shorting actions.
It is not just young investors investing in individual stocks, being harmed by the naked shorting's illegal stock and market price suppression, but also the elderly, like myself, who invest in mutual funds, indices and ETFs.
That the greatest country on earth is allowing a few super wealthy individuals to compromise the U.S. markets and enforcement agencies to the detriment of its middle class, poor and elderly citizens is a situation which must not go unpunished.
Eliminate naked shorting and send the offenders to jail. No little hand slap punishments, jail time, disgorging all their naked shorting profits with high hefty penalty amounts thrown in and banning the offenders from the markets for life.
This is why, although claimed to be the most heavily regulated markets in the world, the U.S. markets are quickly becoming known to the entire world as the playground of choice for financial chicanery.
