As an independent financial consultant the value of 12b-1 fees allows me to work with the small investor and to meet with them regularly to make sure we are meeting their goals. If the 12b-1 fees are revised, no one will be able to afford to work with the small investor. The small investor needs our help the most, since every dollar is meaningful to them. Do not change the 12b-1 structure. It will affect our income as advisors and affect our ability to service our clients that do not have a high net worth.
