I am apposed to the regulation of annuities by the SEC I am a 20yr+ life agent even though I don't sell annuities, I don't want more government regulation or the need to have to aquried additional security license to sell annuities.
I know the annuity market is doing well and know that some brokerage houses have some envy and would like some piece of the index annuity business. I simply know the sec has no jurisdiction over this matter and want to tax us with additional fees. If this this regulation should come to pass, I will have no choice but to join my fellow agents with a clss action sue.
