I encourage you to support the rule that would allow SEC oversight of indexed annuity sales. I have been in business management for over 30 years and practicing as a financial consultant for the past 8 years; nothing frustrates me more than having a client misled and/or sold an unsuitable product. Unfortunately not every agent is professional and puts the clients interests first, consequences and oversight is necessary to protect the consumer, especially in the complex task of retirement and financial planning.
