I encourage you to reconsider the requirement of having a securities license when selling indexed annunities.
In my case, I am an independent agent and I sell only a few indexed annuities each year, but added to other lines of insurance, I make a good income.
It would be troublesome and expensive for me to secure a securities license just to sell a few indexed annuities each year.
If I didn't get a license, it would reduce my income somewhat.
