Based on many years of experience working in the insurance industry I can assure you the industry needs much more Federal regulation for both the financial activities of the companies and their agents.
The fact Insurance companies are exempt from federal anti trust laws cost consumers big money and should be corrected promptly. No company should be exempt and thus above the laws applying to all other businesses.
