This is on behalf of myself, my family and policy owners. I own FIA's myself. The reason I have Fixed Index Annuities is because I like the safty. I like knowing I will always have my money. I had mutual funds with a broker for years and lost my hat. The securities regulation did not help me. The Fixed Indexed Annuities help me, my husband and my clients achieve our savings goals. I like knowing I am NOT going to have losses.
DO NOT make the Fixed Indexed Annuities a securities product. That would be a hugh mistake. The annuities are state regulated by the insurance department of each state as are the companies that sell them.
