I beleive that the action to change fixed indexed annuities to a security is over kill. There are a few agents who have used this product incorrectly and offered it to the wrong client. The action should be directed in getting these agents out of the business instead of limiting access to this product by making it a security. This product is a great tool for the right client and this seems a move for the government to take over more control of the everyday life of people who work and provide a great service in the normal everyday life of people who need this product.
I oppose the above move.
