I believe that to make this comment will be a total waste of my time. I have observed how the SEC operates over the last twenty (20) years. I was formerly licensed (series 7) and became so disgusted with the endless regulation and obvious attempt to control the very air I breath that I cancelled my license. I have continued to serve my clients since then without a single complaint and without the SEC there to tell me when I can send a letter to my client and what it must say or not say.

The fixed annuity business does not need your interference to continue to serve the public We need less of the SEC and not more. Our state is quite capable of regulating the sale and promotion of fixed annuities. We are required to have continuing education in order to remain licensed which is sufficient to protect the public.

This is obviously another step by the SEC to totally dominate every aspect of our lives. The fixed annuity market has a much better track record of public trust than the areas the SEC controls.

A suggestion for you. Clean up your own act before you drag down another industry into the morass you have created.

The fixed annuity industry does not deserve your participation or interference. Go screw up some other industry
