I find it hard to believe that the SEC wants to regulate a fixed investment. There are contractual guarantees different from stocks and securities. The state insurance departments are doing a good job of regulating these annuities.

I have seen people lose thousands of dollars in the market and what is being done about that because there is no guarantees. It seems to me that the SEC has it's hands full with investigating stock schemes and dishonest brokers selling funds that are only good for the company.

Please leave fixed and indexed annuities under the control of the states. IT IS FIXED INVESTMENT

Thank You
