I am appalled at the level of naked shorting going on in the equities markets. Why is this allowed and why is it continuing? Big money shouldn't get it's way at the expense of the little guy. Selling stock that doesn't exist violates all sense of fairness and gives an unfair advantage to those who are allowed to do this. I don't have any problem with shorting and I personally have shorted many stocks. But naked shorting is completely different and must be stopped.
