The Securities and Exchange Commission strikes again.
Under your watchful eye, our markets have been corrupted to the very core, crushing investor confidence and creating an atmosphere of mistrust at all levels. And yet, the leadership at the SEC remains intact, led by individuals who have shown complete and total disregard for those with whom they are sworn to protect.
The SEC has failed miserably at protecting our markets, most notably due to individuals such as Annette Nazareth, who has apparently lost all touch with reality.
Be warned - The excuses are getting old, patiences are wearing thin and the SEC will be held accountable for the blatant incompetence that has been shown thus far.
The time for discussion is over. It is time for the SEC to act on this crucial matter.
Eliminate the Grandfather Provision without further delay.
