As an investor I believe there should be no grandfathering of stocks so those that illegally naked short traded stocks should be able to get away with what I consider and believe to be illegal shorting of stocks. The law states that you must have the shares that you short traded and if they do not have them then they should be forced to go and buy the shares to balance the account. Why should they be protected and the honest investors have no protection or rights? It is time the SEC and the government did the right thing to protect the honest investor.
