I became aware of "Naked Short Selling"(NSS)in the summer of 2004. At that time, I thought the Securities Exchange Commission, as noted on its website, truly had the investors best interests at heart.....

" The mission of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is to protect investors, maintain fair, orderly, and efficient markets, and facilitate capital formation."

I am now sad to report that I, along with countless others have lost all faith in the SEC. Why you might ask.

I continually see the SEC take the side of the violators and turn a deaf ear to the little companys and investors that are requesting the help you were established to provide by the good citizens of this great country

I am surprised that the american investors have allowed your non-actions to continue for this long.

I fear that your taking the side of money and big interest groups over the hard working citizens worldwide that look to you for enforcement, will ultimately be the death of the US market.

I just hope that when the investors refuse to trade any security of which you are "protecting them from", that you remember this.... The SEC's lack of fairness and enforcement, are the reasons that investor confidence is gone, not the companies they choose to invest in. If you insured a clean, level and LEGAL playing field for all investors, not just your favorites, the marketplace would flurish and regain the greatness that it once was.... until then, we investors suffer.
