Dear Sirs,
I was very hopeful when the JOBS act passed that entrepreneurs, like myself, would finally get a leg up in today's social funding climate. But when I saw your proposed 586-page package of proposed regulations, I was taken aback. This would be a blow to entrepreneurs everywhere, and would dramatically slow the growth of small businesses throughout the nation. Please start over, or drastically reduce the number of rules, keeping in mind that existing regulations already protect investors from fraud. A certain amount of auditing and legal maneuvering is to be expected, but the rules, as they exist now, would benefit the accountants and lawyers far more than the small businesses and entrepreneurs. Please don't put out the fire before it has a chance to start.

Best regards,
Lyle Thompson
