Dear Ms. Mary Jo White,
My name is Daniel Sokolovsky and I am a Berkeley student with a startup. I have created a delivery service for the City of Berkeley called “Berkeley Delivers” and am very interested in the concept of equity crowd funding. However, when I try to find explicit rules about Title III, I am unable to get a sense of clarity. I realized that Congress had passed the JOBS Act in 2012 but the SEC had not published anything about Title III which would allow for equity crowd funding to non-accredited investors. I am interested in raising capital from peers that may not be accredited and so I am urging you and your colleagues to team up and finalize the rules about Title III so that I can move forward. My plan is to create jobs for many students by employing them in our delivery training program and then also hire 2 more software engineers to make the database more robust. There is a lot to be done and I feel that equity crowd funding may open up new opportunities for my company.

Thank you for your efforts thus far. I am urging you to just push that extra mile right now and finalize Title III!

Sincerely,

Daniel Sokolovsky
