Rule comments:
I am a member of the FPA. It is my opinion that the Madoff scandal was a result of inattention be the SEC to the many people and many attempts to get the SEC to LOOK at the biggest scandal in history. It was NOT a result of the fees deducted from the accounts and because it was not there is no reason to impose this expensive and onerous event on RIAs.
